RU / PDP / Requirements
Requirements
Proposed changes:
The architecture requirements correctly establish that data is stored wherever the owner chooses and that each actor controls its own balance between transparency and confidentiality. However, the current wording does not explicitly confirm that “wherever the owner chooses” includes national jurisdictions subject to local data sovereignty laws.
Suggestion:
Add a clarifying note, that conformance with UNTP does not imply any obligation to store or process data outside the owner’s jurisdiction of choice. This note removes a barrier to adoption in jurisdictions with data localization laws while remaining fully consistent with the protocol’s existing decentralisation principle.
