Implementation statement
The BSV Association is a Switzerland-based non-profit advancing public blockchain infrastructure as a governance-neutral data integrity layer for regulated supply chains.
We implement UNTP to provide an independently verifiable anchoring layer beneath UNTP-conformant credentials — enabling regulators, auditors, and counterparties to confirm that Digital Product Passports, Conformity Credentials, and Traceability Events existed in a specific state at a specific time, without dependence on issuer-controlled hosting infrastructure.
Our open-source reference implementations cover supply chain provenance, traceability event anchoring, and conformity credential verification workflows.

Other Relevant Information
The BSV Association's anchoring approach is complementary to did:webvh identity management: the verifiable history chain remains authoritative for identity control, while on-chain anchoring provides resolution-independent proof that a given credential version existed unmodified at a specific point in time.
This is particularly relevant for credentials with multi-year validity requirements — battery passports under EU Battery Regulation, facility records under EUDR, and MRO airworthiness records — where infrastructure durability and governance-neutrality are material compliance considerations.
We are interested in participating in pre-release pilot programmes and would welcome connection with implementers active in battery, critical minerals, and textiles sectors.
